SPIRAL WAVE NOMADS
We are thrilled to be once again teaming up with Feeding Tube Records to release the 3rd album from Spiral Wave Nomads, a project featuring Albany’s Eric Hardiman (Sky Furrows/Burnt Hills/Rambutan/Century Plants//Tape Drift Recs) and Twin Lakes co-founder Michael Kiefer (More Klementines/Rivener/Drifting North). Magnetic Sky, which comes out November 11, 2022, sees the band build upon previous efforts, this time pushing further outward with some new and different sounds emanating from the shahi baaja, mellotron, some keys and synths, in addition to the usual guitar, bass, and drums.
Magnetic Sky, released November 11, 2022, can be purchased here.
First Encounters, released January 1, 2021, can be purchased here.
The 2020 Ten Color Ritual EP is available here.
The 2019 self-titled debut is sold out here, but hit up Forced Exposure.

“The resulting four tracks cut from this jam sound far tighter and more constructed than you’d expect. While flowing loose and free, Kiefer and Hardiman play almost as if they’re part of the same hive mind. Each note, each beat and every tricky drum fill lands perfectly and feels somehow premeditated. This speaks volumes not only to each person as an improviser, but to the duo’s trust and knowledge of each other as musicians.”
