We are pleased to announce that Melbourne, Australia's Electric Jellyfish has joined the Twin Lakes alliance for the release of their new self-titled EP. This is their second release, not including the 2009 Dogman Hill Blues split EP with Atlanta's Pony Bones, which they put out on their own Spectacular Commodity imprint. Their 2008 EP The Woods was recorded entirely analogue by Head Gap studios in Melbourne, Australia, and pressed to cassette by the Thurston Moore/Byron Coley collaborative label Ecstatic Yod. The band has toured both Australia and the US extensively since 2007.
2010 finds the Jellyfish on their third US tour in support of their first Twin Lakes release, which can be had for free as a digital download for a limited time only at the Twin Lakes online store. Visit the band's myspace page for a complete list of tour dates.
